FAGS!!!!!!!!

Thankyou for everyone who made the weekend the wonderful sucess it was. We had fun, and the people who came did too!

The fags are having a bit of a rest now, we have a gig lined up for May the 21st with Kickball, Clara Clara, Pagan Wonderer Lu and Francois Virdot which will be lots of fun, and a talk from ladies from the Greenham Common Women's camp, which will be lots of fun. Check the events page for details!

Firstly, thanks to everyone who came to see Ill Ease, Music for one and Lilly Green. It was a really great night!

People who came would have seen the debut of our brand spanking new PA! This is very good as it means we can use lots more venues and won't have to pay to hire equiment or use amps instead. These will be available as a community resource for people who want to put on DIY gigs in Cardiff. If you want to borrow them for an event you're putting on let us know!

Robofag 2 is soon, and less soon but still looming on the horizon is the Never Grow Up weekener which looks set to be an ace weekend of fun and revelry. Check the events page for more info about both of these events.

And also, HAPPY SPRINGTIME!!!!

It has sprung most certainly.

Bad news from Faggy Towers I'm afraid, Electralane have cancelled. We will of course give full discounts to anyone who has bought tickets, just contact the place you bought it from and it'll be sorted.

Never mind though, we can still have a party without them!

We're planning a night of revelry with Many Fingers and Rae Spoon plus performances, dressing up and lots of general fun. More things TBC, keep in touch!

Sorry for the big gap in updates, the Fagputer broke and we couldn't do anything to the site for a time. But we're back now! And boy, do we have some fun things!

Firstly, we now have a myspace. Add us! Make us look popular!

We have many fun nights coming up over the next couple of months, with nights on March 21st and April 5th. Check the events page for details.

We also have the NEVER GROW UP WEEKENDER!!! starting with Electrelane at the Point and continuing with an all dayer at Tommy's Bar in Howard Gardens with 10 bands and vegan barbecue. Should be a fun one!

Happy new year, fags and quags! We have lots of exciting things planed for 2007, and you can see a complete list on the events page. On the 25th we have Helen McCookerybook, The Stilettos and I-S-G playing the Buffalo Bar.

We also have some very exciting news, on April 20th, F.A.G. Club presents ELECTRELANE at the Point! More information about how to get tickets coming up.

Hopefully we've all now recovered from last night, and what a night it was! I think everyone agrees that F.A.G. Club in King's Cross was a roaring success, and hopefully will happen again in the not too distant future. Big up to all the people who came, especially those who didn't know that the F.A.Gs had taken control of the joint until they got there. We love you all and we'll see you after the solstice!

All has been rather quiet here at Faggy towers of late, we're all resisting the primal urge to slip into hibernation for the winter months. We have been managing to say relatively conscious though, at least enough to make some additions to the website, with new links and more info on the about us page!

We're back on tuesday the 12th of December for a Yule-ish bash at King's Cross! The queers invade the gay bar! Check the events for details.

We also have exciting events planned for next year, including visits from Helen McCookery Book, Music for One and some very special secret guests.

Well, Fag-o-Ween truly was a night to remember, as everyone who went I'm sure will know. And to those who wern't there, what the hell were you doing that was more fun that hanging out with a bunch of queers in Cardiff and watching bands whilst wearing rediculous clothing? We will have photos up very soon so you can see exactly what you missed. Fret not though, for we have also ROBOFAG! A night of faggy bleeps and whirrs on the 15th of November at Buffalo. Extra points if you come dressed as a robot. Check the events page for details.

We have also added more links to the links page. We're hoping to make it into a resource for queer types. If you have a link you think we should include let us know.

We now have the website up and running! Some of the site is still under construction but we're going to be working on it over the next few weeks.
